Day 1: The Scenic Ridge Route (NJP to Darjeeling)
This path takes you along the lower ridge via Mirik, tracing the edge of the Indo-Nepal border.

Your 2nd day stays close to the heart of Darjeeling. Because it requires a split schedule (early morning vs. midday), a unified single route link isn’t as efficient as a strict timeline:
- 04:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Sunrise Point
* Head to (11 km from town center) to watch the sun rise over the Kanchenjunga range. Return to your hotel for breakfast.
09:30 AM – 01:00 PM: Zoo & Mountaineering Complex

* Take a ride on theover the valleys. The lower station naturally leads down towards the lush neighbourhood tea gardens for your afternoon tour.
Day 3: Cultural Heartlands & The Rohini Descent
Before catching your train or ride back from NJP, you will cut through the southern spiritual spots and take the smooth, wide switchbacks of Rohini Road down the mountain.

- Day 3 Transit Note: Dropping down via the new Rohini highway is generally faster and smoother than the traditional Hill Cart Road or Pankhabari routes, making it much more reliable for ensuring you hit your train timings at NJP.
